Although Ryan “D.J. R.P.M.” McGuire’s professional career started at the age of 18, he began honing his deejay skills almost at the tender age of 10. Ask his mother and she’ll tell you she had to pull him away from his music and make him go outside to play some days. What started as a dream to be a radio jock turned into an obsession with the entire art of DJing and since then Ryan has stopped at nothing to conquer every aspect of the industry.
Aside from realizing his dream of doing radio for over 6 years at KXJM, DJ R.P.M has become a DJ in high demand. Ryan has performed Weddings, Birthdays, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Private parties, Middle Schools, High Schools, Spring Break, Corporate, Retail, and Promotional events and held down every predominant club in the Portland area from 2002-2012. While many of these events are one in the same in theory, each must be treated differently and approached from a different angle. R.P.M. prides himself in being able to adjust to his crowd and surroundings to get the job done properly and efficiently, whatever the case may be.
R.P.M.’s musical knowledge is vast and his blending skills allow him to mix across eras and genres flawlessly throughout an even to make sure there's something for everyone.

R.P.M. has had the privilege of spinning for events and radio shows with guests like Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Nelly Furtado, Ice Cube, Hulk & Brook Hogan, Ciara, T.I., Warren G, DMC (of RUN DMC), Pitbull, Digital Underground and Coolio and has entertained at events for Macy's, Fred Meyer, Be The Match, and Home Depot. He also spent over a decade rocking at some of the most epic night-spots in the PDX metro including Barrel Room, Splash Bar, Shake Bar, Dirty, The Greek Cusina, Hobo's, Candy, Dodge City, Refectory and Copper Penny.
